Configuring Browser Settings for Studio Users

Follow these steps to configure your browser settings for Studio

Setting Browser Permissions (Chrome)

  1. Open Google Chrome, click on the kebab menu (โ‹ฎ) on the top-right, and select Settings.

  2. Go to the Privacy and Security tab appearing on the left sidebar.

  3. Make changes in the following three places;

    1. Cookies and other site data

    2. Security

    3. Site settings


Cookies and other site data

  1. Under General Settings, select Allow all cookies.

  2. Under Customized behaviours, click the Add button under "Sites that can always use cookies" to insert the Cvent link: https://eur.cvent.me/

  3. Once done, click on the back arrow to go back to the Privacy and security settings modal.

Security

Disable Safe Browsing by choosing the 'No protection' radio button.

Site Settings

  1. Under Recent activity, click on View permissions and data stored across sites.

  2. Click on 'Clear all data' or click on the kebab menu next to all the Cvent websites and select 'Clear data'.

  3. Click on the back arrow and then click on Camera settings under Permission.

  4. Under Allowed to use your camera, check if the Cvent link: https://eur.cvent.me/ is displaying.

  5. Similarly within the Microphone settings, check if the Cvent link: https://eur.cvent.me/ is displaying under the Allowed to use your microphone.

  6. Under Notification settings, check if the Cvent link: https://eur.cvent.me/ is displaying under Allowed to send notifications.

  7. Within the Content section, click on Cookies and site data, and select the Allow all cookies radio button under General Settings.

  8. Click the Add button under "Sites that can always use cookies" to insert the Cvent link: https://eur.cvent.me/

  9. Under Pop up and redirects, select 'Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects' under Default behaviour.

  10. Click the Add button next to "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects" to insert the Cvent link: https://eur.cvent.me/

  11. Finally, click on the Additional content settings dropdown to go to the Sound settings. Select the 'Sites can play sound' option and also add the Cvent link: https://eur.cvent.me/ under the 'Allowed to play sound' section.

Camera, microphone, notifications, pop-ups and redirects, and sound must be allowed for Studio to function smoothly.
