Whether that be an image or pre-recorded video and audio, Studio allows you, as the Host, to add several different types of media as pre-recorded content. Listed below are the currently supported file types in Studio when adding Content.

Note: The file upload size limit for Content is 1GB. There is no total file limit or playback length limit.

MP4

Note: not all files with a .mp4 extension are encoded the same. Studio DOES NOT support (H.265) HEVC-encoded MP4 files.

JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, & BMP

Note: We support animation in GIFs and PNG files and alpha layers in PNG files

MP3 & WAV

Studio also allows you to upload custom graphics and images to be displayed as overlays or backgrounds. The image types supported for backgrounds and overlays are:

For overlays, png files are ideal as Studio will respect the transparent alpha layers. If you want an animated background or overlay you can use GIFs or animated PNGs.

Both backgrounds and fullscreen overlays should be 1920x1080 resolution for the best results but any 16x9 aspect ratio file will be scaled up to fit the canvas.

Notes: The file upload size limit for overlays and backgrounds is 5MB
