Here at Shoflo, we have a wide range of customers that each use timings in a different way, and each generally prefer to have timings formatted one of three ways.  Sports teams for example generally prefer our Clock Time option, while corporate productions prefer either the Humanize or Six Digit options.

Here's how each time format differs

Preset time

  1. Preset time:  Presents as MMmSSs.  So a 90 minute and 30 second preset will look like 90m30s

  2. Six Digit Time:  Formats as HH:MM:SS, which means a two and a half hour preset will look like 02:30:00.

  3. Clock time:  Formats similar to a game clock like MM:SS.  With that, a 90 minute and 30 second preset will look like 90:30.

Durations

  1. Humanized time:  Presents as MMmSSs.  So a 90 minute and 30 second duration will look like 90m30s

  2. Six Digit Time:  Formats as HH:MM:SS, which means a two and a half hour duration will look like 02:30:00.

  3. Clock time:  Formats similar to a game clock like MM:SS.  With that, a 90 minute and 30 second duration will look like 90:30.
