Highlights are a fantastic way to bring elements to life.  With a plethora of colors to choose from, highlights offer a way to color code your rows or make important rows stand out.  Some of our customers for example will make all of their video cues red, speaker cues green, intermission cues yellow and so on.  We've even seen events where every row has a highlight!

Global highlights are seen by everyone inside of your rundown, regardless of permission level and these can only be added by users with an Admin or Show Caller permission.

Personal highlights add a top border to rows and are visible only to the user who added the highlight so it won't be seen by everyone.  These can be added by any permission level.

How to add global highlights

Via our keyboard shortcut

  1. Select a cell in the row you want to add a highlight to (a selected cell will have a blue border around it.)

  2. On a Mac, use press the Shift + CMD + G keys at once to add a highlight.  If you keep Shift & CMD held down, each time you press the G key you will cycle to the next highlight color.

Via the row edit menu

  1. Hover over the row you want to add a global highlight to and click on the cog icon.

  2. The top row of colors to the right of the globe icon are global highlights.  You can click one of our quick "default" colors, or click the arrow to the right to expand our full palette.

To remove a global highlight, open up the row edit menu and click on the circle X icon.
