Highlighting a row is a great way to bring attention to a particular item or set of items.  Within shoflo, there are two types of highlights: a personal highlight, which is seen by you only, and a global highlight, which is how an admin or show caller can highlight a row for everyone to see.

Adding global highlights

You need to be either an Admin or Show Caller in order to add global highlights!

Option 1:  Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Select a cell in the row you want to add a highlight for and use the keyboard shortcut SHIFT + CMD + G (OS X) or SHIFT + CTRL + G (Windows).  Each press of this shortcut will cycle through the available global highlight colors.

Option 2: Row Edit Menu

  • Hover on the left side of the row you want the highlight on and click on the cog icon.  From the dropdown that appears, the colors at the top and to the right of the globe icon are the global highlight colors.

Adding personal highlights

Any user with any permission can add their own personal highlight and personal highlights will only be seen by that user!

Option 1:  Keyboard Shortcut

  • Select a cell in the row you want to add a highlight for and use the keyboard shortcut SHIFT + CMD + H (OS X) or SHIFT + CTRL + H (Windows).  Each press of this shortcut will cycle through the available personal highlight colors.

Option 2: Row Edit Menu

  • Hover on the left side of the row you want the highlight on and click on the cog icon.  From the dropdown that appears, the second row of colors at the top and to the right of the person icon are the personal highlight colors.
